Flipper Nation covered by International Herald Tribune

Kevin Brass, writer for the International Herald Tribune and the New York Times), gave us a great review of Flipper Nation, specifically looking at our efforts to secure an advertiser to continue the series.

Fans of ‘Flipper Nation’ may have to wait awhile for the next episode of the online program, which gleefully mocks America’s fascination with “flipping,” the art of buying and quickly reselling homes.

Despite considerable Internet buzz, production of the show is stuck in the Internet netherworld while the producers look for a sponsor.

“The problem we’ve run into is that it is a fully-produced show and not a person with a blanket and a camera bawling about Britney (Spears),” said Bob Gustafson, referring to the current YouTube fave. “It will take a sponsor to make these episodes work.”

In related news, we got an email from Flipper Nation fan Jay, who was asking about our next episodes, and has a Wisconsin flipped home to sell. Let us know if you’re interested, and we’ll pass the word along (taking a small commission, of course!).
