Christmas DVDs

Oh, my, is the acting bad, but it is literally the greatest movie in the world. I’ve watched it ten times now, but never straight through. I just watch the action scenes over and over again. I think, ultimately, that the movie won’t hold up over time because it suffers from a rare hollywood disease: too many unimportant characters. But the level of detail put into the CGI robots is amazing, and well worth my fan-like devotion.
I also picked up Season 1 of 30 Rock, which is the best-written sitcom in a long time. Enjoy one of my favorite clips, a sharp-tongued tirade from Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin):
