We Signed a Deal

Big news of the day. We just signed a deal to write, direct, and produce a new comedy series, shot and delivered online in full HD for a new independent online video site.
The site itself is still in beta and we are one of three new shows being developed for its launch (and the only scripted show!). We are, of course, thrilled by the opportunity and look forward to doing something truly groundbreaking. The episodes themselves will be longer than usual, as the strategic goal of our series is to push the limits of mid-length content delivered via the Web… to TVs via AppleTV and other set-top boxes.
It’s been over a year since our last episode of Flipper Nation, and that’s been too long. We loved doing that series, and are still looking for a new home for it. (Flipper Nation, btw, still gets a little of traffic and an email every now and then from a person facing foreclosure asking us to flip their house for them…)
In the past year, we’ve shot a short pilot presentation for ABC, did a writer’s strike spoof, and taken a lot of meetings. But it’s been that. Just meetings. We’re ready to plunge ourselves back into production and show this online world what we can do.
